The reference section systematically describes the whiff components.

This reference is divided into the following major areas

A description of the application programming interface for configuring root directories.
A description of the environment variables that WHIFF either reads or writes.
A description of the components available for constructing configuration templates.
A summary of the Python application interface for building WSGI components which interact with the WHIFF infrastructure.
A description of the standard middleware components that ship with the distribution.
